Well child visits are essential to the health of your baby and toddler. These visits allow Dr. Moemeka to take preventative care of your child, track growth and development, detect early signs of concerns, and develop a trusting relationship between her and your whole family.
Well baby care schedule
Whether or not this is your first baby, following a schedule of well baby visits can help set your child up for success and help put your mind at ease.
As a general rule, we recommend that you stick to the following schedule:
- First week (3-5 days old)
- 1 month old
- 2 months old
- 4 months old
- 6 months old
- 9 months old
- 12 months old
Dr. Moemeka will work closely with you and your family to determine whether this schedule is appropriate for you and your baby.
Well toddler care schedule
If your little one is officially a toddler, you’ll still need regular well visits. Like well baby care visits, we recommend the following general schedule:
- 12 months old
- 15 months old
- 18 months old
- 24 months old
- 30 months old
Following this schedule will help ensure that your child gets the care he or she needs to be the healthiest child possible.
