Congratulations on your new baby! At Mark9 Pediatrics, you are guaranteed the best medical care that science can provide by a team of people who are genuinely dedicated to the health and wellness of your whole family.
Well child visits are essential to the health of your baby and toddler. For instance, these visits allow Dr. Moemeka to take preventative care for your child, track growth and development, detect early signs of concerns, and develop a trusting relationship between us and your whole family. Above all else, Mark9 Pediatrics is the Coppell pediatrician that you can trust.
Why is early literacy important?
In general, we recommend that you stick to the following schedule for appointements:
- First week (3-5 days old)
- 1 month old
- 2 months old
- 4 months old
- 6 months old
- 9 months old
- 12 months old
However, Dr. Moemeka will work closely with you and your family to determine whether this schedule is appropriate for you and your baby.
Well toddler care schedule
Even if your little one is officially a toddler, you’ll still need regular well visits. Similar to well baby care visits, we generally recommend the following schedule:
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 24 months
- 30 months
- 3 years old
- 4 years
- 5 years
Following this schedule will help ensure that your child gets the care he or she needs in order to be the healthiest child possible.
Making healthy easy
Prevention is the best way to treat illness, and at Mark9 Pediatrics, we are dedicated to setting your child up for success by taking preventative measures and fostering a wellness- and healthy-focused lifestyle from the beginning. As a result, we partner with a Community Health Worker and have many resources at the ready so that you can access the services you need to be a happy and healthy family.
The choice for me and my child
At Mark9 Pediatrics, your child is always our top priority. We believe that raising healthy children truly takes a village, and we are committed members of your village.
